Coimbatore, June 2026: India’s plastic recycling industry, currently valued at approximately ₹30,000 crore and projected to grow to ₹60,000 crore by 2035, is set to witness the 3rd edition of the Global Conference & Exhibition on Plastic Recycling and Sustainability (GCPRS 2026) from July 2 to 5, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Organised by the All India Plastic Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA), an 80-year-old pan-India apex body, the four-day exhibition and conference is supported by and guidance of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, NITI Aayog, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Under vision of GC chairman Mr. Arvind Mehta and Mr. Sunil Shah – President AIPMA , efforts are always towards strengthening India’s sustainability ecosystem through progressive policies, industry collaboration and initiatives promoting responsible resource management and circular economy.

Recognised as Asia’s largest exhibition dedicated to plastic recycling and sustainability, GCPRS 2026 will bring together over 200 exhibitors from 12 countries across a sprawling 12,000 sq. metre exhibition space, representing the entire value chain of plastic waste management and recycling.

GCPRS 2026 is expected to play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of India’s plastic recycling sector while reinforcing the Government of India’s vision for sustainability, resource efficiency, circular economy and a carbon-neutral future.

The event will serve as a comprehensive one-stop platform for plastic waste management solutions, bringing together technology providers, recyclers, policymakers, brand owners, entrepreneurs, researchers and environmental experts under one roof.

The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge innovations in post-consumer plastic waste management, including collection and segregation systems, automated waste sorting technologies, advanced mechanical and chemical recycling equipment, waste-to-oil and waste-to-energy technologies, end-of-life solutions, and a dedicated recyclates marketplace connecting recyclers with brand owners and user industries. A special consultants’ clinic will guide entrepreneurs, while an Environment Desk will provide support on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and regulatory compliance.

Designed as a Zero Waste Event, GCPRS 2026 embodies the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Mission, promoting technology-driven recycling solutions to significantly reduce mismanaged plastic waste and strengthen India’s circular economy.

Among the key highlights of the event are a dedicated Science & Technology Cluster promoting innovative start-ups in the recycling ecosystem, a two-day Sustainability Forum featuring renowned national and international experts, and an exclusive CEO Roundtable that will bring together industry leaders and policymakers to deliberate on India’s growing requirement of nearly 3 million tonnes of quality recyclates and chart the future roadmap for the sector.
The conference will serve as a unique platform for dialogue, collaboration and policy discussions among all stakeholders involved in plastic waste management and recycling.

As the flagship event for India’s plastic recycling industry, GCPRS 2026 reflects the collective commitment of industry stakeholders towards the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a Swachh Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047.
