Sivakumaran, has been awarded The Best Inventory Controller of India Award 2025 for his outstanding contributions to inventory control in the healthcare industry.

Renowned Marathi Actor Sonalee Kulkarni presented the award at a function held at Radisson Blue, Pune. Dr. Sivakumaran is the only COO from healthcare industry to receive the award under this category.

Healthcare Excellence and Leadership Award has been instituted by Insights Care, one of the leading healthcare media companies providing healthcare publishing and marketing, recognized as one of the best healthcare magazines. 

According to Insights Care, the award has been instituted to honour the exemplary leadership, dedication and outstanding contributions to the advancement of healthcare sector.

Dr. Sivakumaran has a rich experience of over three decades in the healthcare industry. He has authored and published a number of scholarly articles in leading journals. Last year Dr. Sivakumaran received the Healthcare Visionary Award from the Financial Express. He’s also the recipient of Most Iconic Healthcare Leaders (Global) Award from World Health and Wellness Congress. Adding to this he is also the proud recipient of Forttuna Global COO of the Year 2024 India Award, the first and the only Indian COO to bag this award. In this year 2025 he has got the Fluxx Global Award for Life Time achievement category.

He added that inventory control is a main function, which needs to be monitored in any industry. It has a direct impact on the finance and operational efficiency. Getting such a prestigious award is motivating to do more, he added.
