KMCH Inaugurates Corporation School building at Veeriyampalayam Built at a cost of Rs. 2.18 Crore

KMCH, a leading quaternary care hospital renowned for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, has constructed a new building for the Corporation Middle school at Veeriyampalayam village, near Coimbatore.

This significant contribution aims to enhance the educational infrastructure and provide better learning facilities for the students.The new building, constructed at a cost of Rs.2.18 Crore, comprises seven classrooms and rest rooms facility.These facilities are expected to significantly improve the quality of education and provide students with a conducive learning environment.

The inauguration of the new block took place on Monday, November 10. Dr. Ganapathy P Rajkumar, Member of Parliament, Coimbatore constituency, participated as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the new building. Ranganayaki Ramachandran,Mayor, Coimbatore Corporation,M.Sivaguru Prabhakaran,IAS, Commissioner, Coimbatore Corporation and R. Vetriselvan,Deputy Mayor, Coimbatore Corporation graced the occasion as the guests of honour.

The event took place in the presence of Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami,Chairman and Managing Director,KMCH, Dr.Thavamani D Palaniswami, Vice Chairman,KMCH and Dr. Arun N Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH.In his address at the event, Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami mentioned that KMCH continues to undertake various initiatives with dedication for the advancement of education and social progress.

He highlighted that this includes the recent construction of a new school building in the Vadmadurai and Kazhikanayakanpalayam Panchayat areas of Coimbatore district, valued at ₹75 lakhs and another one at Nallampatti, Erode district, valued at ₹2 crore and 11 lakhs. KMCH has also offered a financial contribution of ₹1 crore for the world-class cricket stadium to be established in Coimbatore district. He also noted that these types of social initiatives will be helpful for students to receive quality education and for their progress.

Dr. Arun Palaniswami – Executive Director, has requested that teachers and students make the best use of these facilities and benefit from them. Stated that prioritizing the spending of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds on schools in underprivileged areas is a key focus.
