Mata Amrithanandamayi Mutt donated Rs.five lakh each to CRPF martyrs

Coimbatore : The Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt will be donating Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those CRPF men who were martyred in the dastardly terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmirt last week.

“It is our dharma to support the families of these brave men who died while  doing the dharma of protecting the nation. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones. May we all pray for their peace and well being,” Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma), said in a statement.

I am deeply saddened at the nation losing so many of brave hearts, a statement from the Math, quoting Matha said.

The Mutt announced the donation as Amma was travelling to Mysore, the first stop on the northern leg of her 2019 BharataYatra, it said.
