Melbaan Arabian Dessert Store Opens in Pothanur

Melbaan,a new Arabian dessert outlet, was inaugurated today at Pothanur near Sangamam Marriage Hall. The opening ceremony commenced with a ribbon-cutting, followed by special prayers seeking blessings for the store’s growth and success. A large gathering of residents, well-wishers and community leaders attended the event.

The store is owned by S. Suhail Ahmed and S. Sajid Ahmed. The ribbon-cutting was performed by AK Sultan Ameer, Chairman of AKS Groups.Among the special guests present were Ward 86 Councillor Ahmed Kabeer, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Coimbatore Secretary M.Abdul Hakkim, and several community members, including Tajmal, Amjad, Faizal, Shabeer Ali, Mustafa, MMI Ismail, Nagoor Meeran, Kaja Mohammed, Mohammed Yaseen, Sarfudeen and Ameer Abbas.

A dua was offered by Kovai District Qazi Abdul Rahim Hazrath, along with Malik Hazrath, Abdul Rahman Hazrath and Ayyoob Hazrath, invoking prosperity and blessings for the new business.

The first sale of the store was initiated by Haji M.A. Inayathullah, while the first purchase was received by Haji E. Umar, Treasurer of MMK, and Haji Kottai Abbas, District Deputy Secretary of DMK. A cake-cutting ceremony was conducted by Sivaganesh, Owner of Shridevi Textiles.

On invitation, Abdul Hakkim and his son Faheem participated in the ceremony and placed the first order, wishing the business success, joy and continued growth.

Melbaan begins its operations with prayers, community support and a vision to bring authentic Arabian sweets to Pothanur.
