Coimbatore : Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was all praise for Tirupur, terming it as a land of bravery and enterprises.

Beginning his speech at a rally organised by his party BJP at Perumanallur near Tirrpur, Modi took names of various rivers Cauvery, Noyyal, Amaravathi, Bhavani, passing through the Kongu region, the western districts of Tamil Nadu from where the workers are attending the rally.

“I bow to the land of Tirupur. This land stands for Bravery. It is the land of Tiruppur Kumaran who sacrificed his life for the national flag,”Modi said.

This land belongs to Dheeran Chinnamalai whose bravery motivates the entire country, he said.

Another major thing wasm for the last two weeks many people were wearing Namo merchandise, t-shirts and hoodies with a message of “NaMo Again” . These are manufactured in this beloved Tirupur, he said.

This is land of enterprises, dedication and hardwork and is an example for the whole country, Modi lauded.

He addressed the workers in Tamil “sahodara sahodariyare, anaivarukkum, Vanakkam”
