Coimbatore : The NDA has become the strongest viable and largest inclusive alliance in the country. The opposition on the other hand was confused and with contradictions and conflicts in its ranks, BJP National General Secretary, P Muralidhar Rao said Tuesday.
Besides, it was clear that there was no leader for entire country and alliance other than Prime Minister Modi, while no leader was acceptable to the entire opposition in the country, Rao told reporters here.
Rejecting the argument that NDA had become weak with many traditional allies distancing themselves away, he contended that now all the allies were intact to make it strong. Rao said that Congress was not able to come out with a strong alliance at national level.
“The opposition is confused, disorganized and even now contradictions and conflicts are there in it.” In Kerala, LDF and UDF fight each other and yet talk about an alliance in Delhi, he pointed out.
Rao said that by March 23-24, NDA will finalise the candidates in the entirecountry and all the States, where BJP is contesting, the party will finalise the candidates through State Committee, which will be cleared by the Central Committee.
Within four to five days, the names of the candidates in South India will be decided, he said.
Stating that AIADMK-led NDA was a formidable alliance in Tamil Nadu, he said the party will not only campaign in five constituencies where it is contesting, the entire National and State leaders will campaign for all the 40 seats, including one in Puducherry, where NR Congress is contesting.
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s message, development program, NDA’s achievements will be taken to booth level as part of campaign, Rao said.
