BJP State President Tamilisai Soundararajan has said that the NDA alliance will not announce the Chief Minister Candidate before the assembly elections.
Briefing media persons at the Coimbatore City International Airport, Tamilisai said that the candidate will be selected only after discussing with other parties of the alliance.
Commenting that seeking alliance does not show that the party is weak, she said that the BJP will form a strong alliance with corruption-less parties. “People are looking forward to this alliance and they will support it because it will boost the economic growth of the state,” she said.
She added that people are waiting for the Prime Minister’s Coimbatore visit. Demanding that the state should give major security for PM’s visit she also condemned the bomb threat that was issued by miscreants.
Coming down heavily on the Makkal Nala Kootiyakkam, she said that the alliance speaks on the streets and not in the Parliament or the Assembly.
