To secure the water supply of the river, the Cauvery Calling Movement has set a target of planting 2 crore trees in the next 5 years in the Noyyal River basin, covering the four districts where the river flows. It is noteworthy that, so far, 10 lakh saplings have been planted by farmers on their lands with the support of Isha Outreach- Cauvery Calling.

This initiative is a result of joint efforts by various organizations, including the Tamil Nadu government, coming together for the rejuvenation of the Noyyal River. The implementation of this project in the Noyyal River, which spans about 180 km, has been assigned to different NGOs for specific kilometers. Accordingly, Isha has been assigned the first 4 km.
