PWF protests against rising prices

More than 100 activists belonging to the People’s Welfare Front (PWF) staged a demonstration in Coimbatore today against the Centre’s failure to control the rising prices of the essential commodities.

The activists, led by CPI-M MLA, A. Soundarajan, raised slogans against the Centre and demanded that it take steps to bring down the prices.

Most of the activists were members of the CPI-M, CPI, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, and MDMK.
