Rent Authorities appointed for district

Coimbatore : As per the section 30 of Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act 2017, the rent Authorities have been appointed for the Coimbatore district.
Accordingly, the Revenue Divisional Officers Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South and Pollachi are appointed as Rent Authority of Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South and Pollachi Revenue Divisions respectively, an official release said today.
The new Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of landlords and Tenants Act 2017 and rules came into force with effect from February 22 2019.
