Coimbatore : Two unidentified miscreants looted Rs.10 lakh from a person, on a motor cycle, after diverting his attention by throwing some currency on the road at Pollachi, some 35 Kms from here, Thursday.

According to police, the 67-year old Veerabupathy, after withdrawing the money from a bank, was riding pillion of his relatives’s motorcycle.

Two persons, on another motorcycle, were following the two wheeler and thrown some currency notes on the road and ‘alerted’ Veerabhupathy that a few notes had fallen from his bag on the road, police said.
