Radio City conducted ‘Shakthi Sangamam’, a grand event celebrating womanhood on 9th of March near Hopes College. The event had participants partaking in various competitions in cooking, rangoli, mehendi, fashion show, singing and dancing. More than 600 women, between the ages of 16 and 75 enthusiastically participated in the competitions. Coimbatore Radio City’s RJs Chiyaan, Bobby, Rose and Maria enthralled the crowd with games and fun activities.

The event also featured singing performances, mimicry, zumba session, among others, to engage the participants. The winners won prizes worth more than one lakh rupees. The Radio City team declared that the greatly talented women of Coimbatore deserved to be recognized and rewarded through events like ‘Shakthi Sangamam’.
