Apart from the prime minister, BJP President, Amit Shah and other senior leaders will actively campaign in the state by addressing meetings, he said.

The narrative their campaign will underline the need for a stable and decisive government led by decisive clear leader, development, welfare of the poor, down-trodden, farmers, national security and meeting the challenge from terrorism, he said.

Once the alliance becomes clear, all the constituents will sit together and discuss the strategy, he said.

To a question on opposition to the election schedule announced by Election Commission, particularly Ramzan month, where muslims were said to be getting deprived from the chance to vote and also a festival in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, Rao quipped,” The issue is raised not by Muslims.
