Coimbatore : With Prime Minister Narendra Modi already visiting four places in Tamil Nadu, the next round of his election campaign visit will be finalised within the next five days, BJP National General Secretary, P Muralidhar Rao said Tuesday.

Apart from the prime minister, BJP President, Amit Shah and other senior leaders will actively campaign in the state by addressing meetings, he said.

The narrative their campaign will underline the need for a stable and decisive government led by decisive clear leader, development, welfare of the poor, down-trodden, farmers, national security and meeting the challenge from terrorism, he said.

BJP, he said, was against dynastic politics, family politics, caste and communal politics.

Once the alliance becomes clear, all the constituents will sit together and discuss the strategy, he said.

To a question on opposition to the election schedule announced by Election Commission, particularly Ramzan month, where muslims were said to be getting deprived from the chance to vote and also a festival in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, Rao quipped,” The issue is raised not by Muslims. Non-Muslims are raking up the issue.”

There are also many festival, including Hindu festivals, between the elections dates, he said.

“I completely disown; I dont agree with it”, was his response, when asked to comment on Union Minister Ananthkumar Hegde’s reported statement seeking caste certificate of Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
