Software engineer on a cycling mission to create awareness against child abuse

A 27-year old software engineer from Coimbatore will undertake a cycle journey from here to Bengaluru and back in two-and-a-half days to create an awareness on child abuse.

Dhandapani Loganathan, a resident of Rathinapuri here, has undertaken such journeys to Erode, Salem and several places in Kerala to create awareness among the pubic.

This time, he will be cycling to Bengaluru and is confident of covering 700 km in 55 hours, with 20 minutes rest after every 50 km. According to the itinerary sent by him to the media, he will start the journey from here at 2 a.m. tomorrow and reach BTM Layout, Madiwala in Bengaluru at 10 p.m. the same day.

In return, he will start from Madiwala at 10 a.m. the next day (June 17) and expected to reach the city by 2 a.m. on June 18.
