The SSVM Group of Institutions inaugurated the 4th edition of its flagship event, the Transforming India Conclave 2025, opening three days of thought leadership, innovation, and dialogue. Celebrating over 28 years of educational excellence, the conclave has become one of India’s most respected platforms for intellectual exchange, inspiring young minds to think boldly about the future.

This year’s theme, “AI & Humanity – Co-Creating Our World Today”, brought together visionary leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across diverse fields. Their insights sparked powerful conversations on how artificial intelligence can shape a future where technology and humanity progress hand-in-hand.

Opening the Conclave, Dr.Manimekalai Mohan, Founder & Managing Trustee of SSVM Group of Institutions, emphasized “Machines may calculate, but it is humanity that must lead with care and conscience. At SSVM, we believe education must empower students to co-create the future responsibly. AI finds its true purpose only when guided by empathy and values. Through this conclave, we seek to inspire young minds to innovate with heart and envision a future where technology amplifies human potential while preserving humanity’s essence.”

Delivering the keynote address,Jalaj Dani, Co-Promoter of Asian Paints and Chairman of Addverb & Endureair, shared “Technology is a powerful enabler, but progress without purpose is incomplete. Innovation must align with ethics and societal needs. The future of AI will be defined not by the sophistication of machines, but by the wisdom with which humanity chooses to use them.”

The inaugural day also featured compelling perspectives from leading voices:

Ankur Warikoo, Founder – Webveda & Content Creator, reflected on “Being Human in the Age of AI”, stating “Authenticity is our greatest strength. AI can automate and predict, but it cannot define our humanity. Our flaws and vulnerabilities are not weaknesses—they are the essence of being human.”

Rahul John Aju, Entrepreneur & 3x TEDx Speaker, explored how AI can be an everyday companion “The difference between human and AI creativity lies in scale. Human imagination, rooted in trillions of lived experiences, is far greater. It is our curiosity and choices that determine how AI will serve us.”

Harshit Agrawal, pioneering Indian Artist, highlighted the value of breaking boundaries “We must embrace an anti-disciplinary approach—learning skills just in time, not just in sequence. Creativity flourishes when we rebel against rigid boxes.”

Lokesh Kanagaraj, acclaimed Film Director, posed the question “Can AI capture the soul of cinema?” He affirmed, “Audiences will always come to theatres for their favourite stars—for real human performances, not their AI versions.”

The day also featured engaging workshops and sessions:

Rishi Jain, AI strategist, conducted an interactive workshop, “Socially Smart Powered by AI”, showcasing how AI can transform digital communication, creativity, and social media engagement.

Tapan Aslot led a session on “AI for Social Good”, tracing AI’s journey from “AI Winter” to its resurgence, highlighting applications in healthcare, governance, and human–machine interaction, while raising critical ethical questions.

The Transforming India Conclave has once again proven to be a stage where diverse voices converge to question, explore, and inspire. As we look ahead, the challenge is not just advancing technology but ensuring it evolves with empathy, ethics, and humanity at its core. The next two days will continue with thought-provoking panels, keynotes, and discussions, reaffirming SSVM’s mission to empower students, educators, and professionals to co-create a future where AI serves as a partner in progress, without losing sight of the human spirit.
