TASMAC staff demand wage hike

Coimbatore: TASMAC employees held a protest outside South Taluk Office here on Tuesday, demanding higher wages.
More than 100 TASMAC employees from different trade union joined the gathering, demanding pay hike and job security and raised slogans.
The State Government had been ignoring their demands for long, they said, adding that if this attitude continued, they would hold a state-level protest in Chennai on June 28.
