Taste of Coimbatore – The Biggest Food and Entertainment Festival in the city, organized by the Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association (CDHA) at CODISSIA Grounds was inaugurated on Friday (Jan.5th) .

Coimbatore District Collector Mr.Kranthi Kumar Padi IAS, Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Mr.Balakrishnan IPS and Milky Mist Dairy’s Founder Mr.Sathish Kumar, and Mr. Manmohan Paul, COO Varun Beverages Ltd.inaugurated the event in the presence of CDHA officials and public.

This Mega Street Style Food Festival will go on till Jan 7th at CODISSIA grounds from 5 pm to 11 pm. Nearly 100 Coimbatore-based food brands are taking part in this festival. 100+ food stalls have been opened at the venue to give the visitors myriad varities of veg and non-veg food items, chaats, cakes, sweets, savories, and ice-creams.

On Jan 5th Popular playback singer Sathyaprakash along with the talented singers like Sridhar Sena, Nithya Shree of Super Singer Fame will be performing.

On Jan 6th, celebrated playback singer Swetha Mohan and band will perform and on the last day, singers Anand Aravindakshan,Vishal and many others will perform. Several Tamil Cultural arts like Mayilaatam, Silambaatam, Paraiyattam, Poikaal Kudhirai, Karagaattam will also take place at the sidelines of the event.

The price of the entry ticket is Rs. 249. Kids under 12 years of age can enter freely. The tickets could be bought at all leading restaurants in Coimbatore, and via ticketing apps like BookMyShow and PayTM Insider. The tickets can also be purchased at the venue on all days from 2 p.m. onwards.
