Even as speculations grow that Rajnikanth might join the BJP in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Coimbatore, the party’s state president Tamilisai Soundarajan continues to maintain silence over the issue.

When a reporter asked her to clarify on the rumours of Rajnikanth joining the BJP tomorrow, she said that a number of anti-corruption crusaders, philanthropists, and public figures are joining BJP, because the party is “the last hope for the nation’s growth” and “for a corruption-free administration.”

She added that the list of people joining the party is long.
