Women voters outnumber men in the district in the draft roll published for the local body elections today.
Of the 30,20,268, female voters account for 15,20,558 and others 256. There are 3,650 polling stations in 2,809 wards in the district.
In Ward 100 of the City Corporation, of the 14,14,4273 voters, men account for 7,10,111 and there are 1,197 polling stations. In the three Municipalities with 90 wards, the total voters are 1,95,659 and females account for 99,445 and others nine.
In the 37 town panchayats with 585 wards and 742 polling stations, there are 2,77,751 female voters and others 39 out of 54,65,79.
Of the 2,034 wards in 12 panchayat unions, there are 8,63,752 voters with 4,39,393 females and 45 others.
