Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has declared the result of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2018) examination.

The result was declared yesterday on March 16 on GATE official website; gate.iitg.ac.in. The exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati this year.

HERE’S HOW TO CHECK GATE 2018 RESULTS:

1.Log on to the official website of GATE 2018 or click at appsgate.iitg.ac.in

2.In the provided fields, enter your enrollment ID/email address, password and captcha code

3.Click on submit button

4.Your result will be displayed on the screen

5,Download the same and take a printout for future reference

WHEN WAS GATE CONDUCTED?

1.The examination was conducted for 23 subjects on February 3 and 4 and February 10 and 11

2.GATE 2018 was held for all those who wish to join master’s and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture and in other branches of science at Indian Institute of Science and all IITs

VALIDITY OF GATE 2018 SCORE CARD:

GATE score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.

ABOUT GATE:

1.The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science

2.The examination is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE and the HRD ministry.
