Elephants refuse to move away from calf’s body in Masinagudi

Passengers of a jeep had a miraculous escape when three elephants tried to attack them at Pokkapuram in Masingudi on Thursday. According to sources, villagers heard loud cries of elephants early in the morning and alerted forest officials who rushed to the spot. On reaching, they found three elephants guarding the body of a calf and not letting anyone come near them.
