Ooty Sports ground renovation delayed: Athletes inconvenienced

With funds allocated for the revamping of the sports ground in Ooty, it was decided to change the tracks to synthetic and a tender was floated for the same. The contractor who was supposed to complete it in one year has not done so and the grounds are still under renovation. This has inconvenienced the athletes and also the national and state level sportspersons who train there.
