*Members belonging to the District Conservancy Workers Association today urged the District Collector to initiate steps to waive the interest rates against the cooperative loans they have taken from the Coonoor Municipality Conservancy Workers Thrift and Loan Society.
*Over 100 members belonging to the Tamil Nadu Rural Development Employees Association were arrested here today for staging a sit in dharna in the collectorate demanding immediate disbursement of salary for the last eight months.
