Awareness programme for women drivers

“For women, it is a great challenge to drive cabs and autos” says P.Tamilselvi, an auto driver in Coimbatore. Many women drivers are not aware of insurance policies and hence end up in financial crisis. To create awareness regarding insurance schemes, ‘Kovai Makkal Sevai Maiyyam’ organized a programme on October 24 at Maranna Gowder High School, Coimbatore. Vanathi Srinivasan, the TN General Secretary of BJP presided over the event. The women drivers shared their life experience with The Covai Post.
