Coimbatore based techie invents robo for large scale contactless COVID-19 testing

Karthik Velayudham, a youth in Coimbatore has invented a semi-automatic robo that will perform swab tests without human contact thereby avoiding the risk of contraction during the COVID-19 test. He is seeking permission and funding from the government to make it fully automatic to support hospitals and has also urged the government to encourage local inventions to uplift our economy.
