Sand is being smuggled out in donkeys, bullock carts, lorries from river Noyyal, the lifeline of Coimbatore. Now it’s a parched expanse. Covai Post team had caught on cam bullock carts smuggling sand at 2.25 am from Noyyal river on June 15, 2017.
