Handicapped elephant misused for quick money!

Rivaldo, a handicapped elephant in Nilgiris is allegedly being misused by the resort owners and locals to extort money from tourists. Rivaldo that suffered an injury, a year ago, was wandering around the forest with a stunted trunk and had been finding it difficult to feed for himself. As he was fed by the locals and those associated with the resorts, he wandered in their vicinity. And the people there started using his disability to earn some quick money! The Forest Department has warned of stringent action against those indulging in misusing Rivaldo
