Social activists and residents of Anaikatti and Chinna Thadagam valley have flayed the forest department on the translocation of Chinnathambi and Vinayagan. Why is the forest department turning a blind eye on the large scale sand mining in these areas? How can the animals be blamed for man’s mistakes? Will the forest department translocate the wild gaurs, leopards and all the other animals that have begun straying into the human habitation because of man’s folly?
