101st Death Anniversary of Saibaba commemorated in Saibaba Colony

Saibaba attained mortality on the day of Vijayadashami in 1918. On this occasion, special pooja was performed at the Saibaba Temple belonging to the Nagasai Trust in Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore. The deity was specially decorated. Food was served to all the devotees. The secretary of the Trust Balasubramaniyan told that it is in this temple the world’s first Saibaba statue was placed for worship and that is why this area was called Saibaba Colony.
