50,000 die of snake bites in India every year

Prof Sakthivel, University of Reading, England, said Most dying due to snake bites in TN are farmers. The number of deaths are increasing because there is not enough awareness. Of the 3000 variety of snakes globally, only 600 are poisonous. Proper and immediate treatment will help save lives
