Chemically ripened mangoes confiscated and destroyed in Coimbatore

600 kgs of mangoes which were chemically ripened were confiscated from shops in Ukkadam area in Coimbatore during a raid by Food safety department under Vijayalakshmi. They were immediately destroyed using phenoyl.
