Coimbatore Krishnarayapuram villagers demand patta

Around 150 families from Krishnarayapuram village who were sanctioned housing plots by the government 45 years ago have not received patta till now. The land allotted to them have been encroached by private builders . More than 200 people from Krishnarayapuram village held a protest under Venkatachalam, head of Homeless Backward people association in front of the Red Cross Society , Coimbatore demanding that the patta for their land be handed over to them.
