Coimbatore records 70mm rain in one day. Siruvani dam water level continues to rise

With the rains continuing in Coimbatore district right from the month beginning, the district received 70mm rains in one day yesterday. According to the climate research centre in TNAU, the rains are expected to continue for a few more days and the water bodies are filling up fast.
