Demonitised currency worth 60lakhs seized in Coimbatore

Tas Tahir who rented an apartment in Peelamedu met with six of his associates there, but left in a hurry after an argument with them. The suspicious owner who checked the apartment with a duplicate key was shocked to see bundles of 1000 rupee demonitised notes and informed the police immediately. The police have arrested 7 people in regard to this on the basis of CCTV footages and are on the lookout for four more including Tas Tahir.
