Condemning the several conditions imposed on Vinayaga Chathurthi festivities , more than 500 people from Hindu outfits submitted a petition to the Coimbatore district collector T N Hariharan. They demand that there should not be any conditions imposed on Hindu religious festivities. It is to be noted that the government has imposed 24 conditions for the Vinayagar Chathurthi festival to be celebrated on September 13
