Holding protests without permission. CPI members arrested in Coimbatore

CPI held protests in front of the South Taluka office in Coimbatore condemning the corporation’s decision to award the contract for water distribution in Coimbatore to a private entity, SUEZ. More than 100 people who participated in the protests without obtaining permission were arrested by the police.
