Hunger strike to reconsider Sabarimala verdict

Members associated with Singanallur Ayyappa temple in the city staged a hunger strike protesting against the Supreme Court’s Sabarimala verdict on allowing women of all ages to the temple. Several men and women joined the protest held at Singanallur. They demanded that the verdict on Sabarimala be reconsidered.
