Naatru nadavu ( seed transplantation ) festival celebrated in Perur temple

The famed Pateeswarar temple in Perur ,Coimbatore had its yearly naatru nadavu festival of the Tamil month of Aani today. Special poojas were conducted for the sprouted seeds kept in the temple after which they were transplanted. The festival is held every year in prayer for abundance in rain and harvest.
