Nine arrested in connection with rape of 16 year old in car

Police arrested nine persons on charges of sexually abusing a minor girl for the past few months in nearby Pollachi.The father of the girl, a 10th standard student, had lodged a missing complaint Friday, based on which police started investigation and nabbed one Amanullah, said to be the lover of the girl, police said.On interrogation, he is said to have confessed of sexually abusing the girl, along with eight other friends in the last few months.
