Operation of 36 CCTV cameras inaugurated by Coimbatore Police Commissioner

Coimbatore city Police Commissioner A. Periaiah inaugurated today the operation of 36 CCTV cameras under the Coimbatore Market Police station jurisdiction. He later told the media personnel that there are 5000 CCTV cameras in operation in the city and that 207 of them are under police control.
