Pensioner cheated of her bank savings of Rs.4.31 lakhs in Coimbatore

Hussain Beevi of Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore has been drawing pension for the past 38 years after the demise of her husband . The pension account and her savings account are maintained in Indian Bank, V.H.Road. She was shocked to find out that her entire savings of Rs.4.31 lakhs have gone missing from her account and has lodged a complaint on the bank staff with the Commissioner of Police , Coimbatore . It is to be noted that when filling up for life certificate, she handed over her bank book to the person filling up the forms who retained it for 2 days.
