Petition against MBBS and MS graduates using the title of doctor

Socrates, the head of Social Awareness Association has submitted a petition to Coimbatore District CollectorT.N Hariharan in which he has said that only those who have done their Ph.D are eligible to use the title of doctor and that MBBS and MS graduates cannot use it. He further said that corporate hospitals should refrain from employing homeopathy and siddha practitioners as night duty doctors.
