Sanitary workers protest demanding permanent employment and designated salary

Sanitary workers from municipalities and corporations held a protest today in front of the Coimbatore collectorate demanding permanent employment and disbursal of salary fixed by the Municipality Administration officer. They submitted a petition with the above demands to the District Collector T.N Hariharan and threatened of a hunger strike on August 15th if their demands were not met.
