Coimbatore District Collector K. Rajamani, pointed out that the COVID-19 which is spreading in the city, is only through people from other districts and states, who are currently under quarantine. Several measures have been put into place to ensure safety that the pandemic does not spread. He claimed that total lockdown is not essential in Coimbatore and warned violaters of severe action.
