Oer 1,300 members of JACTTO-GEO were arrested today when they staged a demonstration in front of the District Collector’s office, seeking implementation of the 7th Pay commission recommendations.

The employees and teachers, including 900 women, raised slogans in support of their demands like repeal of the new contributory pension scheme, implementation of the pay commission recommendations and a monthly payment of 20 per cent of the incremental basic and grade pay as interim relief till implementation of the pay panel recommendations.
