Bunty Chor attempts to commit suicide by swallowing bulb pieces

Notorious burglar Ravinder Singh a.k.a. Bunty Chor attempted to kill himself in the Thiruvananthapuram Central jail on Tuesday by swallowing broken bulb pieces. He was rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
Bunty broke a CFL bulb in the jail and tried to swallow the broken pieces.
Bunty is currently a 10-year RI for committing series of thefts in New Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru. He was nabbed after he broke into an NRI’s house at Pattom in Thiruvananthapuram in January 2013.
During the trial, Bunty showed symptoms of mental illness and was admitted to a mental health care. But as he was found mentally sound, he was sent back to the prison.
