IS activist of Kannur dies in Syria

Kochi: IS activist Shijil of Koodaali in Kannur has died in Syria.
This was conveyed to his relatives from Central agencies.
Intelligence reports had indicated his possible death but had not confirmed it.
He had ties with fundamental groups before joining IS about six months ago.
