ATM robbery accused remanded in judicial custody for fortnight

The sixth judicial magistrate court on Friday sent eight persons arrested in connection with the back-to-back ATM robbery in the city in judicial custody for 15 days.
According to sources, Moshan Khan, Salman alias Mubarak and A Zubair from Rajasthan, S Amit Kumar, Zubair and Ameen from Haryana, I Mustak Idris from Uttar Pradesh and A Zulfiqar from Delhi were caught by the police from Namakkal and Salem districts.
On December 15, police produced then before magistrate Rajavel who gave police permission to conduct investigation by keeping them under their custody for eight days.
On completion of that, they were produced before the court who remanded them in judicial custody in Coimbatore Central Prison. They would have to be produced in court on January 5.
