CM takes a dig at Dhinakaran

Lambasting AIADMK rebel TTV Dhinakaran who won the recent RK Nagar bypoll, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapadi K Palaniswamy said the AIADMK `cannot be destroyed by attempts of thousands of such Dhinakarans’.
Some forces were trying to take political advantage by speaking ill of the Government and they would not succeed, he told reporters at the airport here.
The implementation of good schemes had earned the government a good name among the people, he added.
About forging alliance with the BJP, as expressed by some ministers, Palanisamy said he was not in a position to comment on that, adding, “You can ask the ministers who raised the issue.”
On the possible entry of Rajanikanth into politics, the Chief Minister said that in democracy, anyone was free to make the choice. “We can talk about that after he starts a party,” Palanisamy quipped. About the remarks of S Gurumurthy, he said he (Gurumurthy) himself had clarified that he had not used such language.
